A litle birdie told me.....

Hello and welcome

This is my newest Art Journal page, with some painting, stenciling, stamping and drawing.

I drew the bird on a written sheet, colored him with my Neocolor II and waterbrush, and cut him out and glue him down on my page.

The sentiment stamp is from Rubber Dance and the branch with leaves on it's my own design, homemade stamp.

A little birdie told me that I need to start thinking more of myself and do more of what I love to do - crafting. So that is my promise to my self for the year 2016: make more art ♥

I hope you have a wonderful sunday! Take care and come back soon ♥

Hugs, Anita

Because I'm Happy - Me, the thrilled member of a marvelous Design Team

Helo you Sweeties

It’s Sunday today, but it’s not just only a Sunday, it is a very special Sunday for me. It’s now official that I’ve become a very proud member of the Rubber Dance Skandinavian Design Team J And I’m just overthrilled. This is a dream come true.

Not only do I get the opportunity to show my artistic skills, but I get in addition allowed to become acquainted with many wonderful artistic people around the world. Where we can both support, encourage, and last but not least, inspire each other. No wonder I’m happy :-)

You can read more about Me, Rubber Dance, Bibi (the big Boss and the Designer and Developer of the beautifull Rubber Stamps), and all the other remarkable Design Team members here

And to celebrate the good things I've just made this marvelous piece of art - if I do say so myself :-)

This background is a bit special. I have used clingfilm from the kitchen. The technique is simple but ingenious, and I just loooove the result.

This time I just used stamps from Rubber Dance. You can find and buy all the stamps I have used and even more fantastic rubber Stamps here

I realy do hope you want to come back and visit me on my blog, cause here is a lot of inspiration and glory, and it's just getting better and better.

If you want a step by step tutorials, or/and want to know which equipment I used on this Art Journal page, please write me a comment and I promise you both answer you and also Publish a step by step tut on my blog. Just to make you happy :-)

Finally, I would just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Bibi (the big Boss over at Rubber Dance) who have given me this opportunity. I am very glad that I have discovered you and your wonderful stamps. Must of course emphasize that you are also a very talented artist and a lovely human being.

Until next time - Be Happy and give the world a big happy SMILE!

Hugs, Niti/Anita x

FORGLEM MEG EI - step by step

Yesterday I told you I had a bad day. Today I'm feeling a little better. A good night sleep is not to overrated, it can heal almost anything. Also the immense grief you get by getting a serious diagnosis of the doctor..... So when I've told it to My family and also tried to get it from a distance I will tell you about it too.
BUT NOW - lets talk about something much more pleasant; this art journal page of mine, and what I've been using and how I built up this page, okidoki? :-)

This time I'd used my big Dylusions Art Journal

then I use some baby wipe and covered the whole page with white gesso

I took a rubber stamps from the beautiful collection En liten hilsen from Rubber Art Dance and stamped Tenker  på deg (thinking of you) sentiment over a old book page

and LOVE from the Arty Hearty collection of Rubber Art Stamps

then I took the heart rubber stamps from Arty Heart Collection of Rubber Art Stamps and stamp some heart over an old book page

with my scissor I cut out the  different peaces in squares and use Matt Gel Medium to glue them down  to my page

I mixed white gesso with some water and brushed the page with gessowash

I used a old stencil, unsure which brand and smeared some Modeling Paste with my sparkel here and there on my page

Then I took my  gelatos and colored the page using my fingers

I took the Rubber Art Dance Stamp from the Artsy Heartsy collection and stamped some more heart on my page

with a ornament Stamp bougth at Panduro Hobby (unknown  name of the stamp) and Archival Brilliance Galaxy Gold Ink Pad I stamped a little here and a little there

THEN, my friend, I find this absolutly specatular flower stamp from the collection called Antique Botanicals of Rubber Art Stamp and  stamp it with Distress Ink. For the leaf I used Distress Ink colour Forest  Moss and embossed it with  Clear Embossing Powder and meltet it with my heat gun

The same  technique i used for the flowers as well. Distress Ink in the colour Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Marmaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glas and embossing them with Clear Embossing Powder. The results became just yammy yammy, don't you agree? :-)

For a frame I glue down Lace around the edge.
Below you see some close-ups of some of the details

I hope you like this journal page and that I gave you a inspiration to make something beautiful. Please give me a comment below,it will be greatly appreciated.

Tomorrow me and  my little sweet family is going by boat to Denmark on vacation. I realy looking forward to it, I just hope its not going to be a storm over the sea... I get very easily seasick.

Hope you have a great summertime! Until we meet again - take care.
