Send a Postcard to a friend - Reminder of a new challenge platform

Hello and welcome,
if you are a member of the new Group on Facebook called Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge, you will see this postcard on the wall today. If you are not a member, make sure to be a member. There is a lot of inspiration and there is also Challenges.

I actually made a video tut. of this card, but just before I finished editing, the entire movie disappeared……. So here we are without tutorial on how I made this Postcard. What a pitty!

I can try to tell what I did:
I started with white gesso, then Distress Oxide in the background, layer on layers in many colors. Then I stamped the hearts onto tissue paper, and cut them out. The same did I with the postcard stamp. T

hen I used my palet knife to get some white paint over a little here and there. I used Matt Gel Medium to glue the heart and poststamp down on my card. I also used a dotted stencil and black and white paint in the background, along with tiny heart stamp. When it was all dry I write with Dina Wakley's gold paint over the postcard.

Link to the stamps:
- Mail Art
- I heart Art
- Tiny hearts from Friends Fur-Ever (in the background)

Here is the information about the Facebook Challenge:

I hope to see you in the Lounge.

Have a wonderful day.

Les mer her.

Utfordringer går ut på å enten bruker fargene hvit og svart og en valgfri farge og/eller bruker vinger/fjær.

Materialer brukt:

- Hvit kartong
- Sort Archival ink
- Gelli plate
- Hvite fjær

Stempler fra Rubber Dance:
- Fjær
- Congratulations!
- Små prikker og stjerner

Når du handler i nettbutikken husk å bruke koden ASFreeShip, da får du gratis frakt dersom du kjøper for 15 Euro eller mer.

Tusen takk for at du besøkte bloggen min i dag. Legg gjerne igjen en hilsen, det setter jeg veldig stor pris på. Ønsker deg en fortryllende dag.

Klem, Anita

Just adore me - a new challenge

Hello and welcome!

Today there is a new Challenge over at Rubber Dance. The color is Ultramarine Blue, Turquoise and Sandstone. The theme is make a tag. I choose both, colour and theme.

I made a tag and used Dina Wakleys Paint in blue, turqouise and cheddar with a brush and water so I got this cool effect.

Then I stamped the sentence, the elephant and the leaves on Dina Wakleys Tissue paper, cut them out and glued them on the tag. I used Tim Holtz Distress Crayons in Grey and Brown to color the elephant.

Around the edges and for shadowing I used black Distress Crayons. White Paint for the splatters.

Here are some details of the tag:

The Rubber Dance challenge runs until the end of the month. You can use the colours and/or make a tag.  Don't forget if you are shopping at Rubber Dance you can get free worldwide shipping with my code ASFreeShip when you spend over €15!

Thank you for visiting.

Looking all around for you - An art journal page for the Rubber Dance Challenge

Hello, and welcome

These days it is freezzzzzzing cold in Norway!
Here in Bergen where I live it is around 12 minus degrees celsius, but I heard it on the radio this morning that there were ceveral places in Norway where it was all the way down to minus 41,8 degrees... (!) That is cold!!
So I am very happy that I have a house, a woodstove and a lot of wood, and that I have my little nest where I can sit comfortably and enjoy myself crafting while the "murder" snails is freezing to death (I hope..) Do you have murder snails where you live? (These nasty brown big snails who eat all of the flowers and salad in the garden)

This month there is a new Challenge over at Rubber Dance, And this month the theme/color is circles, stamps, buttons diecuts/lavendel, black, light grey.

Here is my make for your inspiration.

I hope you will join the Challenge, it is fun and you can win prizes 😊
