FORGLEM MEG EI - step by step

Yesterday I told you I had a bad day. Today I'm feeling a little better. A good night sleep is not to overrated, it can heal almost anything. Also the immense grief you get by getting a serious diagnosis of the doctor..... So when I've told it to My family and also tried to get it from a distance I will tell you about it too.
BUT NOW - lets talk about something much more pleasant; this art journal page of mine, and what I've been using and how I built up this page, okidoki? :-)

This time I'd used my big Dylusions Art Journal

then I use some baby wipe and covered the whole page with white gesso

I took a rubber stamps from the beautiful collection En liten hilsen from Rubber Art Dance and stamped Tenker  på deg (thinking of you) sentiment over a old book page

and LOVE from the Arty Hearty collection of Rubber Art Stamps

then I took the heart rubber stamps from Arty Heart Collection of Rubber Art Stamps and stamp some heart over an old book page

with my scissor I cut out the  different peaces in squares and use Matt Gel Medium to glue them down  to my page

I mixed white gesso with some water and brushed the page with gessowash

I used a old stencil, unsure which brand and smeared some Modeling Paste with my sparkel here and there on my page

Then I took my  gelatos and colored the page using my fingers

I took the Rubber Art Dance Stamp from the Artsy Heartsy collection and stamped some more heart on my page

with a ornament Stamp bougth at Panduro Hobby (unknown  name of the stamp) and Archival Brilliance Galaxy Gold Ink Pad I stamped a little here and a little there

THEN, my friend, I find this absolutly specatular flower stamp from the collection called Antique Botanicals of Rubber Art Stamp and  stamp it with Distress Ink. For the leaf I used Distress Ink colour Forest  Moss and embossed it with  Clear Embossing Powder and meltet it with my heat gun

The same  technique i used for the flowers as well. Distress Ink in the colour Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Marmaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glas and embossing them with Clear Embossing Powder. The results became just yammy yammy, don't you agree? :-)

For a frame I glue down Lace around the edge.
Below you see some close-ups of some of the details

I hope you like this journal page and that I gave you a inspiration to make something beautiful. Please give me a comment below,it will be greatly appreciated.

Tomorrow me and  my little sweet family is going by boat to Denmark on vacation. I realy looking forward to it, I just hope its not going to be a storm over the sea... I get very easily seasick.

Hope you have a great summertime! Until we meet again - take care.

Hugs from Niti
