Helo and happy happy Sunday 😊 

Today I just wanna stopping by and show you what i am working with right now. Working is a wrong Word in this matter. I rather say playing. I have no Idea of what the finish results will be. I just play along 😃

Tomorrow I will be traveling to a beautiful little town called Brønnøysund and will attend something called "Brønnøysundregistrenes Brukerforum" for two days, but I will take with me my little Art Journal and do some droodling when its possible 😊 Because i am addicted to Art Journaling 🎨📚

I will come back and show you what these creative Art Journal pages turn into when I am satisfied with the results 👍😊

I DIG GARDENING! - art on canvas

Hi! Long time no see.

I've been very busy lately working on my canvas which is my present for my mum who have birthday tomorrow. She dig gardening. I think she has Bergen's most manicured garden :-)

This art i make on 60 cm x 50 cm canvas. I used paint for background colour with lots of different stencil just for making texture in the background. Wheelbarrow and shovel, I've drawn myself. The butterflies, birds, bublebee, flowers. gras and mushroom is made by rubberstamps, and coloured in with different media, such as dylusions ink spray, Faber castell big brush pens and Distress ink.  I must emphasize that the colors are much stronger and healthier in reality.

Do you like it? I do - and I hope that my mum will like it also : )

This is not all i've been up to. I have also made some art in my journals. As you can see i'am more fond of doing art than writing on my blog. My sparetime goes to art, but I hope you still are with me :-)

Jeg liker ikke å snakke - This is my Norwegian kind of art :-)

Hi, it's me again :-)

I promise you yesterday that the next thing i will show you is My newest art on canvas. And here it is :)

Suddenly I realized that I could also take this  peace of art to the Challenge at Rubberdance.blogspot.no. What a brilliant idè ; ) So her I go again. I think I'm addicted....
This applies to participate in the contest:
For May, the colours are bright summery shades of purple, hot pink and sunshine yellow

In addition to our colour scheme we also have an optional THEME: FLOWERS

I hope I will win and that I can recive some of the amazing rubber stamps from Rubber Dance Art as prize. They are all gorgeous, but I did find some favorites. That I can talk about another time. Now lets concentrate on my art on canvas.




I did my art on canvas 20 * 20 cm. this time. For the backround i used tissuepaper from Tim Holtz: Idea-ology - melange. I glue this on with mixed media matt. Let it all dry over night, and then I paint over with gesso mixed with water. Let it dry.

Then I came in with acrylic paint with the fab. coulor Pastel Pink, Pastel blue and Pastel Violet. I painted with babywipes so the colour just melted beautiful together. Then i colored the Big Butterfly with Faber Castell Gelatos in tree different pink coulor.


Then I stamped the background with the background collection from Dylusions called Basic Backgrounds.




I Stamped the flowers who is from Tim Holtz collections called Flowegarden and cut them out. I colored the flowers with Distress Ink in shades of purple, hot pink and sunshine yellow ;) Then I stamped the leaves direct on the canvas (this is from Dylusions collection called Around the Edge), and colored the leaves with Gelatos in two different green colour.




The Verse I have taken from a famous Norwegian writer and Lyricer called Arnulf Øverland. He was born in Kristiandsund in 1889, and died in Oslo in 1968.




I written the Verse into a bit of a design sheet, cut it out and glue it onto the canvas and then doodle a "sew edge" around it. I thougt the Verse is beautiful. In english it goes something like this: "I don't like to talk. When I do I do not believe myself, but the flowers here will thank anyway!"
I think the Verse sounds better in Norwegian....  :)

I do hope that I remember it all, but if I don't please do not hesitate to ask if you have any question, okidoki?

In closing I will just show you my mixed medium art collage in my Art Journal that  I received tremendous positive response on Facebook and Instagram. I am very proud of this one : ) What do you think? Did you like it?

Art Journaling

Here I am, again 😊
About one month ago I bought the book"Distinctly Dylusional - A guide to Art Journaling", by Dyan Reaveley. So if you love Art Journaling like I do, and don't already have this book- buy it! This is absolutly awesome. Lots of tips and inspirations in there 😃 I now read it for the second time.



Here is some of my art I did last week and I thougt I will bring in to the May Challenge at Rubber Dance Art Stamps.  The colour for this month is pink, yellow and purple, and we can use flowers if we want to. Yes I do! :)

This time I Also will try to explain to you how I did this. Okey, here we go.

This is a cardstock from my Art Journal binder as I bought at Panduro Shop in My hometown. 

For the backround I used Dylusions Ink spray, color Cut Grass, Tangerine Dream and Lemon Zest. Then I used a flower stencil and ghosted the page. 

I stamped the girl with Dylusions Black Sheep collection, Cut out an colored her with Promarker pens in pink, purple and Black. For the "hair"I used one of Tim Holtz flower stamp from the collection called Flowergarden. Her legs is from Dylusions stamp collection called Currious Corrin.I used Distress Ink color Mustard Seed, Festive Berries and Picked Raspberry, to color the flower on her head and for the flowers on the ground I used a flower cutter, and colored them with the yellow Distres Ink, and edged them with pink Distress Ink. In the midle of the flowers I used buttons in pink, ,green and purple. The flower stalk is from the Dylusions stamp collection called Inbetweenies.

For the border I used Dylusions stamp Collection called Further Around the Edge. I colored the border with Black and white pens. Some words in the quote is from Tim Holtz smal talk collection, but the Word "in" and "will" is mine.

As you can see I realy looooove Dylusions, and Dyan Reaveley, and Tim Holtz. They are what i would call real Artists.

My monday quiote

Hi!
I've decided to just write in Norwegian. So if you don't understand Norwegian you can just use the Google Translate, okey? Please give me a feedback if you prefer that I write in English! Then I of course will do that in the future 👍

Siden sist har jeg vært opptatt med å være kreativ, så jeg har ikke funnet tid til å skrive på bloggen min. Men nå tenkte jeg det var på tide, ettersom jeg også vil vise dere hva jeg har gjort. Denne laget jeg ferdig i dag - sitatet; "mas mas mas, over hele linja, mandag hele året, og det er ingenting å le av...." er fra en låt av et norsk rockeband (som også synger på norsk), som heter Dum Dum Boys. Synes sitatet passet så bra i dag 😄  

Forresten kan jeg nevne at jeg fant noe som het Art Journal på Panduro med slike kort inni. De var slettens ikke dum 😊 
Bildet over viser en side fra Art Journal fra Panduro som er en liten ringperm med cardstock. Man kan også få kjøpt disse cardstockene løst. 
Her har jeg brukt Dylusions Ink spray som bakgrunn, jeg har brukt Tim Holtz tissue paper, og diverse stempler fra Dylusions. Jeg har fargelagt jenten både med Promarker penner og Dylusions Ink spray som jeg har påført med pensel. Hatten er en sopp fra Dylusions-kolleksjonen som jeg har fargelagt med Ink spray påført med pensel.

Rubber Dance Art Stamps Challenge - MAY i BEE your Honey

Jeg bestemte meg for at jeg ville prøve meg konkurransen hos Rubber Dance Art Stamps. Månedens farger var så inspirende og herlige at jeg kunne ikke la være å lage noe søtt : )  Som du ser så har jeg brukt Manilla Tag og har et lite ordspill: MAY i BEE your honey : )

I decided that I would try the Challenge on Rubber Dance Art Stamps Blog. Month colors were so inspiring and lovely that I could not help but make something sweet:) As you can see I have used a manilla Tag and have a little pun: MAY BEE in your honey:)

Som du ser er jeg ikke så veldig flink med utforming og laytout m.v. av blogg. Synes den er litt rotete og rar, men jeg tenker at det går seg sikkert til etterhvert som jeg blir litt mer kjent med bloggens verden. Så mens vi venter på at jeg skal bli mer erfaren innenfor bloggens verden håper jeg at du holder ut med meg. Jeg har egentlig lyst til å bruke mest tid på kunsten min og minst tid på PC'en, men jeg er også veldig glad i utfordringer og kontakt med andre kreative mennesker derfor prøver jeg meg jeg også som blogger : ) Tenkte jeg bare ville nevne dette, for ordens skyld ;)
As you can see I am not very good with design and laytout etc. by blog . Seems it is a bit messy and weird, but I think that it goes up surely as I get a little more familiar with the blog world. So while we wait for that I'll be more experienced in the blog world, I hope that you keep up with me . I really want to spend the most time on my art and least time on the computer , but I'm also very fond of challenges and connect with other creative people so I try to blog as well: ) Just thought I 'd just mention this :)

Mindfullness og sjelefred - peace of mind

Hei på deg,

jeg har sett en del norske blogger og det slår meg at det er stooooor opphopning av strikking, muffins, klær, sminke og interiør og ikke minst trening og kosthold. Hmmmmm..... tenkte jeg. Jeg har ikke funnet noen som blogger (på norsk vel og merke) om Art Journal, Tags, Mixed media art.
I've seen some Norwegian blogs and it strikes me that there is stooooor accumulation of knitting, muffins, clothes, cosmetics and interior and of course exercise and diet. Hmmmmm ..... I thought. I have not found anyone who blogs (in Norwegian, that is) about Art Journal, Tags, Mixed media art.

Jeg fant noen blogger som handler om scrapbooking og kort, men det er litt annerledes fra det som jeg driver med.

I found some blogs about scrapbooking and card, but it's a little different from what I'm doing.

Nå er det jo veldig fokus på mindfullnes og droodling, og fargelegg deg selv og andre glad. Det er akkurat det jeg holder på med. Og jeg lover deg - det er helt fantastisk! Ned med skuldrene og opp med humøret og sjeleroen.

Now it's very focus on mindfullnes and droodling and color yourself and others happy. That's exactly what I'm doing. And I promise you - it's amazing! Down with the shoulders and up your mood and soul tranquility.

 

Nå som jeg har kommet så godt i gang vil jeg vise deg noen sider i min Art Journal som jeg har laget. Og som jeg skrev i min innledning i bloggen min, er min intensjon å vise deg både trinn for trinn, teknikker og tips og ideer og bare ha gode stunder med kreativitet og skaperglede.

Honey i have heels higher than your standards

Veien blir til mens jeg går, og det er blant annet det som er så herlig med å drive med dette. Ingenting er bestemt på forhånd. Jeg har en ide og så begynner jeg på denne og så bare bygger det seg opp, og jeg finner både teknikker og tema etter hvert som bildet jobber seg fremover.

Path as I go, and that's partly what's so wonderful to do Art Journaling etc. Nothing is predetermined.
I have an idea and then I start on this and then just builds up and I find both techniques and topics as the image work forward.

Jeg bruker veldig mange teknikker og verktøy. Blant annet acrylmaling, dylusions ink, gesso, mattmedium, Promarker penner, stempel, stenciler/sjablonger, våtservietter, blyant, saks m.m. Det er viktig å begynne med å bygge opp bakgrunnen først, og til det bruker jeg mange sjablonger og bakgrunnsstempler, samt kredittkort og dorullpapp o.l. for å få forskjellige mønstre og textur. Alt er lov! Det er bare å leke og prøve seg frem. Og så når man er fornøyd med bakgrunnen er det bare å kjøre på med "hovedtemaet/motivet".

I use a lot of techniques and tools. Including acrylic paint, dylusions ink, gesso, matte medium, Promarker pens, stamps, stencils / templates, wipes, pencil, scissors, etc.
It is important to start building up the background first, and there I use many templates and background stamps and credit cards and toilettroll etc. to get different patterns and texture. Anything goes!
Just play and try their way. And then when you're happy with the background is just run in with the main theme.

Dette er spennende! : )
Jeg har tenkt veldig lenge på å få meg en blogg hvor jeg kan formidle kunst, skaperglede og inspirasjon, men jeg har bare - frem til nå, konsentrert meg om å utøve kunst, ikke skrive om den. Men, jeg har tatt bilder av alt jeg har gjort og dette har jeg lagt ut på instagram. Jeg har fått veldig mange fine tilbakemeldinger og likes på kunsten min så det inspirerte meg enda mer.

Nå tenker jeg at jeg vil bruke denne bloggen til å legge ut bilder av det som jeg har gjort, og selvsagt tutorials, tips, ideer og inspirasjon m.m. Jeg er veldig glad i ArtJournals, Manilla Tags, Mixed Media og selvsagt Lerret, så det blir dette jeg konsentrerer meg om og som jeg kommer til å vise her på bloggen min. Dersom det er stor stemning for det vil jeg også kunne legge ut video og bilder steg for steg "How to" - Altså tutorials : ) og selvsagt hva jeg har brukt av stempler, maling, stenciler/sjamblonger osv. osv.

Jeg håper du vil besøke meg ofte og bli både inspirert og oppmuntret til å enten begynne med å skape noe eller kanskje du allerede er i gang, men ønsker inspirasjon og ideer til dine fantastiske verk. Da er du på rett sted.

Mine inspirasjoner er mest fra Dyan Reaveley, Helen Alen, Tim Holtz og Vicky Papaioannou. Disse er forskjellige kunstnere, men de er meget dyktige alle sammen, og det er også inspirasjon i seg selv. Som Dyan Reaveley sier det: "Its easy when you know how, isnt it". : )

Har drevet med tegning og maling etc. siden det jeg kan huske. Drev også en stund med å skrive dikt, og har også hatt en "karriere" som blomsterdekoratør av tørkede blomster o.l. (når tørkede blomsterdekorasjoner var på moten vel og merke) :))

Jeg elsker å leke med form og farger og forskjellige teknikker. Jeg er mer av den impulsive typen som gjerne har et utgangspunkt jeg ønsker å lage, men når jeg er ferdig så har det blitt noe helt annet enn hva jeg først hadde tenkt når jeg begynte.

Her var utgangspunktet noe helt annet enn hva resultatet ble. Men jeg er veldig fornøyd med resultatet : ) Dette er det man kaller MixedMediaArt på lerret. Her har jeg brukt både acrylmaling, stempel, kredittkort, stenciler, sider fra en gammel bok, designpapir, penner, gelatos, gesso, kakepapir, knapper, dylusisons ink m.m.

Jeg håper jeg raslet litt i din kunstnerånd og at du vil følge meg på min ferd på kunstens vei.

Warmly welcome to nitisartfromheart.
This is exciting! :)
I have thought very long about getting me a blog where I can teach art creates joy and inspiration, but I just - until now, concentrated on exercising the arts, not write about it. However, I have taken pictures of everything I've done and this I have posted on instagram. I have received a lot of positive feedback and likes on my art so it inspired me even more.

Now I think that I will use this blog to post pictures of what I've done, and obviously tutorials, tips, ideas and inspiration.

I am very fond of ArtJournals, Manilla Tags, Mixed Media and obviously Canvas, so it becomes this I concentrate on and I'm going to show here on my blog. If there is a great atmosphere for that, I will also be able to post videos and photos step by step "How to" - tutorials:) and obviously what I've used for stamping, painting, stencils etc.

I hope you will visit me often and be both inspired and encouraged to either begin to do art, or maybe you are already started but want inspiration and ideas for your wonderful work. Then you are at right place.

My inspirations are mostly from Dyan Reaveley, Helen Alen, Tim Holtz and Vicky Papaioannou. These are different artists, but they are very capable all together, and there is also inspiration in itself. As Dyan Reaveley puts it: "Its easy When you know how, isnt it". :)

I have been worked with drawing and painting etc. since what I can remember. Also ran for a while with writing poetry, and also had a "career" as a floral designer of dried flowers etc. (When dried flower arrangements were in vogue) :))

I love to play with shapes and colors and different techniques. I'm more of the impulsive type who like to have a starting point I want to make, but when I finished then it has become something completely different than what I had initially thought when I started.

As for example this picture:

Here was basically something completely different than what the outcome was. But i am very pleased with the result : )

This is what is called Mixed Media Art on Canvas . I have used both acrylic paint , stamps, credit cards, stencils, pages from an old book , designpaper, pens, gelatos, gesso, cake paper,buttons, dylusisons ink mm

I hope I rustled a little in your spirit of art and that you will accompany me on my journey on the path of art .
